We are proud to announce that we have signed a Grant Agreement for the purpose of implementing the project entitled "Increasing energy and resource efficiency in the Molvik factory", and with the help of this subsidy from EU funds we are starting another new investment cycle.
The project of increasing energy and resource efficiency represents a significant opportunity for us, as we are stepping on the path to building our own solar power plant and producing electricity for the needs of our production.
Thanks to this project, Molvik will contribute to significant environmental goals through the planned green transition for better adaptation to climate change.
By purchasing new machines and applying new solutions, we are moving towards greater automation and better production productivity and energy savings.
Producing electricity from renewable sources, we will save over 50% of energy compared to the current state and reduce CO2 emissions by more than 69%. We also plan to restore biodiversity and bio systems by planting indigenous trees, sustainable use of water resources through greater introduction of recyclate production, and reduced water consumption through circular resource management.
The implementation of the investment is planned in the period from 2023 to 2026.
